Emergency Paediatric First Aid

This one-day course is designed for anyone working with babies or children up to age 12, providing the essential skills and knowledge to respond confidently in an emergency.

Led by NHS-trained professionals, the course covers key topics including legal responsibilities, primary and secondary assessments, recovery positions, CPR for infants and children, safe use of defibrillators, and how to manage common injuries and illnesses.

It’s a practical, hands-on session tailored for nurseries, schools, childcare providers, and anyone caring for little ones.

About the Course

  • This course is ideal for anyone responsible for the care of babies and children up to age 12—whether at work or at home. It's a great fit for nursery staff, teachers, childminders, sports coaches, and parents or carers.

    It’s suitable for both first-time learners and those looking to refresh their existing knowledge. Please note that this course complements—but does not replace—practical training required for full paediatric first aid qualification.

  • This is a 1 day course lasting 6 hours.

  • Certification valid for 3 years.
